lit up the city

lit up the city by Elsbeth

I spent Sunday in downtown Johannesburg on this roof.

Looking down onto the busy street life and up to the tall buildings all around me, I could feel the vibrant energy of Jozi  -the local nickname for Johannesburg.

I was in the company of new and old friends and of course I took my current knitting project with. I am making mittens for my mother and even though the pattern is quite easy I couldn’t focus so well with all the talking I was doing!

So me and my fellow artist/photographer friend, Ivan, decided to to play with my wool and yarnbomb the fence!
